The original Olympic pool – How to succeed in extreme conditions

Life originated in the oceans but surviving in the largest habitable space on the planet is tough. Finding food and a mate is hard enough but the killer is avoiding being eaten by predators—there is nowhere to hide in the open ocean. You need to be fast, nasty or invisible to survive. Professor Geoff Boxshall will look at what it takes to succeed in the oceanic water column.
