Endothelial Cell Phenotypes in Health & Disease

Alterations of endothelial cells and the vasculature play a central role in the pathogenesis of a broad spectrum of diseases from diabetes to cancer. This GRC will bring together leading researchers from a variety of disciplines with shared interest in the endothelium, providing new insights and perspectives that are moving the field. Attendees will have the opportunity to establish new collaborations and research directions while gaining exposure to cutting edge research in the field of endothelial biology. Although basic research remains a central component, a strong translational focus and emphasis on the heterogeneity of endothelial cell types are unique to this GRC.
