Genes & Cancer 2012

The Genes & Cancer Series aims highlight some of the year’s most important themes in cancer biology. This annual conference features an international line up of speakers in a relaxed “just before the holidays” environment, covering a wide range of topics at the cutting edge of cancer research. We have an outstanding line-up of international speakers and are delighted to have Professor Norbert Perrimon (Harvard Medical School, Howard Hughes Medical Institute) as our keynote speaker. There is also a lively poster session and trade exhibition followed by a conference dinner, featuring a very popular Ceilidh!

The meeting will be held at the University of Warwick, and in this website you will find the scientific and social programme. You will also find practical information and details on other features of the meeting including accommodation and travel.

There will also be four short talks selected from the abstracts and poster sessions. We believe our meeting is an excellent opportunity for students and postdoctoral fellows to engage directly with the invited speakers and meet scientists from around the UK and from around the globe.

As we have new information and details, these will all be posted at this site. We would like to thank all our sponsors and exhibitors for their generous support. Without their help it would not be possible to hold the meeting. Please take advantage of their presence – these companies underpin much of the research we do. You have a great opportunity at the meeting to visit them and discuss the latest technological, funding and publishing advances.

We look forward to welcoming you to Warwick!
